We supply Ladders, buckets, and bags for the cherries! - It's a fun day and we love seeing all of you every year!
PARKING:
- Drive slowly ( 10mph ),
all the way down Royal Anne Dr.
- TURN LEFT into our 1 way and park at an angle on each side of the Lane within the painted white lines.
- Also, try NOT to use the Turn around so we don't disturb my wonderful neighbors at the very end of the Road. -
THEN...PLEASE CHECK IN AT Cherry/Apple HUT!
-- We have a simple
WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT for one person in your party to sign for the responsiblity of all members, including minors, in your group - Thanks.
-- Then we will give you buckets to pick apples/cherries and enjoy the farm.
A Few Requests when Picking

Please pick the cherries with OUT the stems. Just leave the stems on the trees. It's so much easier and it doesn't hurt the trees for the following year's cherries.

HOW TO USE OUR LADDERS
Please watch the video to learn the best way to use our ladders.
LADDER SAFETY
1. Please watch the video
2. Hood River can be very windy. Keep children close by when walking through orchard. The wind can randomly blow over ladders.
3. When using ladders, make sure the ladder is not too vertical. -- Spread the ladder out a little wider than a letter 'A'.
-- then stand on the first rung and 'set' the ladder with your weight, feeling it settle into the ground.
4. It's safest to wear sneakers when using ladders.
5. If it starts to rain, do not use the ladders.
6. Minors may not use ladders.

PETTING ZOO
The goats and sheep will be ready for your cuddles. Our Alpaca love having their necks petted and being fed. We do have a few little piglets to admire but not for petting or feeding, this year. - sry :(

BRING A PICNIC
Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the farm and double mountain views of Mount Hood and Mount Adams. We recommend bringing a blanket to sit on the grass, -- we do have a few small picnic tables scattered in the orchard as well. -- It's Pack-in Pack-out. Please take your picnic garbage with you. Sry.
Our new parking doesn't have room for non-pickers. sorry! -- We ask that you pay for your Fruit first before picnicking. Thanks.
