A little history of how we started our family farm. Established in 2008, Hood River U-Pick Organic came about as a means to pay for the maintenance of our cherry trees. As a child, my Grandpa Keith Middleton, had a U-Pick Strawberry Farm near Detroit, Michigan. He also grew raspberries too! But he grew pumpkins for his grandchildren to sell. So every year he would bring a big truck of pumpkins up north for me and my siblings to sell. It was always so much fun!
I figured, if my grandpa could have a U-Pick business, so could I, and it worked! I love it. And I love my customers. Everyone is so happy and grateful for what we do. We keep expanding what we grow because growing healthy organic food is a beautiful thing for everyone!
